$50 will be taken, off the current price of each additional pup purchased.

A $100 deposit is required .......

This holds your place in the picking order. The date / time of post office postmark, determines your placement in the picking order. This also holds your puppy until it is weaned and ready to be picked up or shipped. The balance will be due upon picking up your puppy or before the puppy is shipped. If you wish to send a deposit, call us to get our address (it is not on this website), and provide us with your name, address, e-mail address and telephone number. THIS DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE UNLESS Lost River Kennels is unable to provide a pup, out of the specified litter. If we are unable to provide a pup, out of the specified litter, we will either refund your deposit or transfer it to a current or future litter, of your choice.

THE THREE CHARGES BELOW ARE

IN ADDITION TO THE PRICE OF THE PUPPY/DOG:

Airline Shipping Freight - (Additional Approx. $175 to $300 a lot depends on the size of the pup and current gas prices) .......

We only ship to major airports and we use the airline company with the fastest shipping time, from drop-off to pick-up. The cost is determined by the total weight of the dog or puppy & the shipping crate. We drop the puppy off at the cargo terminal and you pick the puppy up at the cargo terminal. The cargo terminal is a separate building, very close to the main airport. You have no hassles of parking and going into the main airport. We will call the airlines to get the cost of the shipping, than call you with the amount.

Shipping Crate - (Additional $65 ) .......

The crates we purchase are airline approved, large size, pet carriers, so you should be able to use it through-out the entire life of your dog. The airline requirements states the pup must be able to completely stand up and turn around, with it's head up and without touching the crate.

Health Certificate - (Additional $50).......

This is a certificate from our vet, required by the airlines, stating the pup is in good health and able to travel. Actual cost to us is $55, we only charge you $50. (Cost break-down - Office visit - $35.00, Health Certificate - $10.00, Rabies Shot $10.00). This certificate is only good with the airlines for 10 days from it's issuance date.

Something you might want to check into.........

Sometimes it is a cost savings for you to fly round trip from your home to the Indianapolis, IN, Evansville, IN or Louisville, KY airport. You can then rent a car to make the trip to our kennel, pick up your puppy and return to the airport, for your return trip home. Our kennel is 2 - 21/2 hours one way, from any of these three airports. If your puppy is still at a young age, it should be small enough to ride under your seat (in a soft-type airline approved carrier), on your flight home. If the pup is a little older, you can still fly home together, but the pup will probably have to ride in the baggage compartment. This is something that you will need to make arrangements for with the airline. They have certain rules and guidelines to go by, that we do not keep up on. However, if you choose this method, you will need a health certificate from our vet, that is less than 10 days old, from the day of your flight. So please let us know in advance, if you are traveling this way. Health Certificates are an additional cost of $50. This is a certificate from our vet, required by the airlines, stating the pup is in good health and able to travel. (Office visit - $30.00, Health Certificate - $10.00, Rabies Shot $10.00).

We will breed your female on the 11th and 13th day of her cycle.

You are welcome to board your female at our kennel for these days (NO CHARGE)

or you can bring your female to the kennel on these days.
